Took me a second to realise how Levi had distributed the water. Heh, he’s really getting into this animal thing.
OH thank you I was having some trouble parsing the water, cause I’d been thinking the blue dots were speckled rock. Not for any good reason. Brain just sometimes cannot understand pitchers.

Good Job Threvi, you’ll be a systems manager yet! Or maybe an adventurer, probably enjoy that more.
I LOVE how you’ve rendered the motion on this page- the way Threvi is jingle-jangling about in panel three and how Bex quickly wrenches the worms from her face in panel five are absolute standouts!

Not a dumb concept at all. I think they call that “convergent evolution”. Similar environments cause creatures to evolve in similar ways. I’d say it’s a good bet that any inhabited planet with an ocean will have something that resembles an Earth fish- at least until you look at it closely. Same goes for crabs.

I admit I’m a little confused as to how this is supposed to help. How would linking the worms to the planetary “computer” system make them stop attacking? Does it grant them intelligence?
Also, this means Bex is now linked, too, right?
The water will transmit Bex’s “credentials” to the worms, so they stop seeing her as a hostile foreign body and thus stop attacking her.
It’s true that Bex has avoided exposure to the water in the past, so it will be interesting to see what if anything the implications of that will be. Will the system have a backup of her now?
Shake Attack- much more effective than Tail Defense

I think she wasn’t dead just… mostly dead? And mostly dead is still a little bit alive
…maybe she was less dead than that.
Dat boi made the snakeys back off by updating them from water, then Bex was able to breath in since no longer being squeezed and choked by them. That’s how i read it.
Yeah, I think the worms were choking her, but when they received the new information, they loosened their grip enough for her to catch a breath.
I’m taking notes. You never know when shaking water at alien worms will be just the thing that carries the day.
